Job Summary: The Associate Technical Designer will be responsible for overseeing and owning all aspects of technical design for denim and knits from initial development to final production (T.O.P) to ensure accurate execution of requested measurements, quality, construction, and overall fit.

Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.Examples of Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeasure garments accurately to identify any issues and execute fit comments efficiently to remain on schedule with calendar deadlines.Assess garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and any prior changes.Assist in leading fit sessions on live models and fit forms, provide recommendations, note call-outs, and log critiques to accurately and efficiently address all issues.Provide grading guidelines to vendors after fit approval to ensure fit continuity and sizing consistency.Create and develop clear and detailed fit comment documents with easily understandable comments using written and visual methods, and communicate fit and balance issues via photos, detailed sketches, and pattern diagrams or directly on patterns when needed.Communicate daily with vendors regarding fit, construction, sewing changes, and any general questions, as well as final grading throughout the entire product lifecycle.Assemble tech packs with detailed sketches/illustrations, garment construction details, and specs on Adobe Illustrator and Excel while adhering to established standards, templates, and organization.Identify potential product, quality, and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations to maintain brand integrity.Track and manage workflow and workload, including managing fit schedule and calendar. Work with PD and Tech Manager to assess next steps when fit issues arise during the pre-production/production process and any potential impacts to timing.Maintain sample organization throughout the development and production lifecycle, including tracking the status of fit samples/packages.Work closely with PD and Design to keep BOM updated throughout the entire development and production lifecycle. Work closely with PD on sampling needs and requests to meet calendar milestones and due dates.Review and approve final inspection spec sheets before bulk shipping.Update cross-functional WIPs in a timely manner to maintain accurate record-keeping while maintaining established standards, templates, and aesthetics.Other duties as assigned.
