SUMMARY:The Associate Patient & Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Marketing Director of CABOMETYX will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic and tactical activities associated with CABOMETYX Patient, Advanced Practice Providers, and Nurse audiences while ensuring alignment with the overall brand and indication-specific strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead CABOMETYX patient, advanced practice provider, and nurse marketing initiatives.Drive coordination & alignment by engaging Exelixis cross-functional partners including Key Customer Strategy, Market Planning, Market Access, Sales, Sales Training, and Corporate Communications.Assume a high level of coordination with GU and GI marketing teams.Liaise with Exelixis Public Relations to provide input and support to patient organizations as appropriate.Manage project timelines and ensure timely execution of programs and tactics.Lead projects to gain approval through the Review of Advertising, Marketing, and Promotion (RAMP) review process.Oversee production and distribution of materials and implementation of programs.Work closely with Sales Training to develop and deliver any necessary training needed to support Patient, APP, and nurse strategies and resource rollout.Manage APP and patient agencies, budget forecast, and spend to ensure resources are used appropriately and according to plan.Manage the execution of the APP/Nurse conference and product theater plan.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:There are no supervisory responsibilities for this job.May indirectly supervise employees through a dotted line structure or via other subordinate supervisors.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Education:BS/BA degree in a related discipline and at least 11 years of related experience; orMaster's degree in related discipline and 9 years of related experience; orEquivalent combination of education and experience.Experience:Pharmaceutical marketing.Patient marketing, advocacy relations, public relations, digital marketing, and sales experiences are a plus.Oncology experience is strongly preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to develop sound strategic and tactical concepts and clearly articulate these to brand and cross-functional team members.Strong project management and agency management skills.Ability to form collaborative working relationships.Understanding of FDA Regulations of pharmaceutical drug promotions and experience with Legal, Medical and Regulatory review processes.Effective presentation and written communication skills.Job Complexity:Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. May also work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $178,000 - $252,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors. In addition to the base salary, as part of our Total Rewards program, Exelixis offers a comprehensive employee benefits package, including a 401k plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program, or if field sales staff, a sales-based incentive plan.
