About the RoleAs a Staff Product Designer on the Merchant Marketing team, you’ll lead the end-to-end Ads & Promotions campaign management experience for CPG brands on DoorDash.

You’ll work with a tight-knit cross-functional team to envision how we enable CPG brands to find the right tools for their needs through intelligent recommendations, no matter what stage their business is in. You’ll also drive the strategy on how we demonstrate the value of marketing on DoorDash, and make activating a campaign a breeze for new and returning users alike. You’ll define the future of an advertising platform that connects local businesses to 20+ million Consumers on DoorDash.

This role can be based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City and will report into the Design Manager for Ads & Promotions. This is a hybrid role, with some time in-office and some time remote.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions

Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship your designs

Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities

Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals

Design and ship high-quality product improvements

You are a staff-level IC with 7+ years of work experience

You enjoy complex problem spaces, and bring clarity to your teams through your mastery of the design process (and the occasional design sprint)

You are passionate about leading product strategy and vision for new product areas

You skillfully balance strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to achieve elegant solutions

You value high quality well crafted visual design, and care about the details
