This role is a member of the Market Area North America Networks Leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Networks Market Area North America and is based in Plano, Texas.

In this role you will: • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of professional services experts, including network performance consultants, operations consultants, and technology & solutions experts, to efficiently deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions• Be responsible for end-to-end Network Design and Optimization lifecycle; establishing, executing, and growing the area of Network Design and Optimization services while achieving or exceeding related strategic business objectives• Enable short to long-term profitable business for Ericsson through growth in Network Design and Optimization Services• Establish a valued “consultative challenger” relationship with decision-makers, Heads of Operations, Domains, CU CTO, Supply and Sourcing functions, etc. focused on driving network performance and operations excellence• Ensure smooth collaboration and communication with business areas, other domains, Strategy & Technology, customer units and potential partners• Build, lead and mentor high-performing team optimizing talent to drive creativity, innovation, and productivity.• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations to drive their satisfaction and success.• Act as a strategic partner to customers, offering innovative solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds their requirements• Lead initiatives to transform network design and optimization processes, embracing new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends• Encourage a culture of innovation within the team, driving creative problem-solving and the development of cutting-edge solutions• Implement and refine processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance• Oversee the delivery of network design and optimization solutions ensuring they are executed with the highest level of quality and on time• Implement flexible strategies and solutions that accommodate evolving market conditions and customer needs• Deliver success through empowerment and accountability of your team by modeling culture and behaviors defined by our 5 focus areas of Ericsson on the Move with an emphasis on integrity

To be successful in the role you should have: Functional & technical acumen:• Exceptional knowledge and technology expertise in:Strong wireless industry wide knowledge and industry trends/initiativesMarket Area North America (MANA) customer specific challenges and needsExpertise in RF Engineering, network planning and design and optimization and performance improvement4G and 5G network end to end experience and infrastructure familiarityPerformance measurement, analysis, and diagnosis background• Strong financial acumen and broad business skill set with proven ability to drive efficiencies and adherence to team financial metrics• Experience providing Executive level reporting including budget, risk management and strategic planning• Strong relationship with Business Areas and Domains in the Market Area• Demonstrated ability to drive multiple complex projects simultaneously• Continuous learner with proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technology areasLeadership acumen:• Role model of uncompromising integrity; upholding ethics and compliance within the decision-making process with the ability to foster a speak-up culture• Demonstrated success as an energizing leader with a passion for shaping culture with a strong focus on developing technical talent• Driver of innovation; naturally embraces new ideas and seeks out diverse perspectives to create innovative approaches and solutions• Proven track record leading director-level or higher teams and building highly productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders• Demonstrated ability to own and drive business and organizational transformation, consistently delivering superior business results• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; solutions-oriented with the ability to balance short and long-term priorities• Proven track record with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.Minimum experience & education requirement:• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the telecommunication infrastructure industry with 10 years in the field of Radio Access Networks• Minimum of 5 years working in customer facing role, professional services, consulting, or operator experience
