The candidate will support our Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) businesses, working closely with the communications team and business leaders to design and execute external visibility and internal teammate engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have diverse, results-oriented communications experience spanning media relations and thought leadership programs, executive visibility, storytelling, social media engagement, and internal communications. The Senior Communications Partner will work as part of a broader Wholesale Banking communications team, applying sound judgement to materials and collaborating regularly with others in corporate communications, marketing, and relevant business functions.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES****Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Work with the CIB and CRE communications and business teams to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies.2. Architect a proactive public relations program to obtain positive media coverage of Truist in targeted regions and industries, including leadership message development, spokesperson training, and issues management.3. Plan and execute internal communications initiatives that engage and inform teammates.4. Serve as the primary communications point of contact for members of the CIB and CRE businesses.5. Provide communications counsel to leaders and executives, balancing risk and reward.6. Write press releases, speeches, thought-leadership articles, media briefs and communications on behalf of senior leaders.7. Counsel CIB and CRE leaders on the use of social media (LinkedIn).8. Drive the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.9. Forge relationships with business leaders to gain knowledge, align communications objectives and goals with the business, and serve as a trusted consultative partner.**QUALIFICATIONS****Required Qualifications:****The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training2. 7 years of progressive and related experience3. Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, listening and management skills; ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and counsel, negotiate, influence and inspire4. Proven project management ability including managing the conceptualization and execution of multiple large, complex projects along with capability to make rational decisions under pressure5. Strong, well-rounded communications skills including writing/editing, project management, publicity, and news judgment6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities7. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that affect our business**Preferred Qualifications:**1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or English2. 10 years of related experience3.
