Position Title: Quantitative Analyst/ Data AnalyticsPosition Location: Fully remote (EST/CST)Prefer W2 candidatesJob Summary:The main function is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.Job Responsibilities:• Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement.• Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.• Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.• Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.• Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.Skills:• Experienced in either programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools such as Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau.• The ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics.• Experience working with large datasets.Education/Experience:• Master of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required• Entry level to 3 years of relevant experience required.Impact/Function this role has within the bank/LOB:Mitigating risk - risk reporting team - data insights and visualization - Improves Risk Reporting quality and timeliness - Risk and Resilience analytics and reporting, impacting all LOBsIndustry background: Background in risk resilience/IT operations is preferred - statistical background is a nice to haveRoles and Responsibilities:- Working to implement Business Resiliency-related reporting in Tableau- Assisting with Operational Resilience- and IT operations reporting as needed- Assist with data governanceMust Have Technical Skills:- Business Intelligence tool experience including Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or QlikFlex Skills/Nice to Have:Tableau, Data prep tool experience such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Informatica, Trifacta, Python, SQL, R codingSoft Skills: able to communicate effectively both written and verbal, strong internal customer facing skills, strong executive presence, ability to collaborate with a team, easygoing and flexible, ability to work independently as well, be able to take a task and run with itBachelor's degree required preferably in a technical IT or mathematics fieldIf you have the necessary skills and background please apply to the job and I will reach out to you.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
