Position Summary

The marketing and communication manager will be expected to develop and execute a

company-wide marketing plan for CHNK Behavioral Health. The plan must effectively communicate to an array of segmented audiences including clients, business professionals, general community, government officials and donors as it will enhance CHNK's image and reputation in the community. Additionally, CHNK needs a plan that will introduce a new organization-wide brand creation for a series of dynamic plans underway that are part of the company's evolution in concert with a historic capital campaign

The position works closely with the Chief of Philanthropy and External Relations, the Chief Executive Officer, and other members of the Leadership Team.

This position requires a self-starter who can work autonomously, and in a team-oriented environment. An appreciation and patience for the utility role of managing many responsibilities in a small department.

Essential Job Functions

The time spent on the following duties is generally estimated to be 80% of the time spent on assigned tasks.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plan and strategies to create awareness of the company's work, impact, and brand in the community/Commonwealth.Work closely with Chief of Philanthropy and External Relations to develop a campaign communications and marketing plan as a top priority in the six months.Wholistically bridge the clinical and business side of CHNK with philanthropy and external relations so that there is consistency with messaging and a brand guide. The creation of a new parent company, foundation, and other lines make this a very opportunistic moment for marketing and communications.As a visible member of the CHNK professional team, build relationships with donors and key stakeholders to support the mission and work of CHNK.Handles in-house publicity extending to external members of the media and social media to insure maximum coverage of events, feature stories, announcements, etc.Critical team planning committee member of annual and one-time events for overseeing marketing and communications. Includes the annual Breakfast, dedication programs, dignitary visits to CHNK sites, etc.Prudent fiscal management Should be expounded upon or defined in some manneThe time spent on the following duties is generally expected to be 20% of the time spent on assigned tasks.

Represents CHNK during community events as appropriateManages relationships with outside professionalsOther duties as assigned.Required Skill Sets and Previous Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.Minimum of five years' experience in marketing and communicationsProven marketing campaign experience.Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.Ability to oversee design process, from conceptualization to final executionStrong copywriting skills.Attention to detail.Proven ability to manage budgets.Professional and proactive work ethic.High competence in project and stakeholder management.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.Benefits include:
