Join the team at San Diego Jewish Academy as a full-time Multimedia & Communications Designer in our Marketing Department! You are the ideal candidate if you are a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives on producing high-quality content, visual story-telling and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
You will be kept busy with:
Graphic design of high-quality print and digital content, including video, school communications, collateral, brochures, ads, photography, presentations, email marketing and web updates as assignedCapturing high-quality videos and photographs during school events, activities, and day-to-day campus lifeEditing and producing engaging photo and video content for social media, website, and other communication channelsMaintaining and organizing the school's photo and video librariesManaging communications calendar deadlines, ensuring timely and consistent messaging across all platformsCoordinate and send out all social media and Constant Contact emails, including newsletters, announcements, and event invitationsCollaborate with various departments to gather content and ensure accurate and engaging communicationsMonitor and report metrics for SEO, email campaigns, website and other digital media performanceEnsure consistency and adherence to the organization's branding guidelines across all communication materialsAssist with other communication and marketing tasks as neededHere's what you bring to the table:
Skills/Education/Experience
Proficiency in multimedia design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).Previous experience in graphic design, video production, and photography.Strong photographic and videography skills and a keen eye for detail, composition, lighting and anglesStrong portfolio showcasing a variety of multimedia projects.Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience in an agency or in-house settingBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, film or a related field.Experience in a marketing or communications roleQualities and Traits

Compensation:
The anticipated range for this position is $66,560 - $70,000 per year. The offer to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and years of experience; training; practical knowledge; and education.
