Responsibilities:

Social Media Management :

Oversee and manage the @golipscomb social media presence across various platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.Develop a social media content calendar and create engaging content tailored to each platform's audience.Develop strategies to increase Lipscomb University's presence and engagement on TikTok and Instagram.Track and analyze social media metrics to assess performance and inform strategy adjustments.Lead a team of student workers to assist in content creation and idea generation for social media.Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team meets objectives and maintains a consistent brand voice.Content Creation and Video Production :

Capture high-quality video content at various admissions events, such as Lipscomb Fridays, Accepted Student Events, and Summer Scholars.Utilize footage to create compelling promotional videos for social media, email campaigns, and other university platforms.Cross-Department Collaboration :

Coordinate with the Public Relations office to ensure consistency and alignment with the university's main social media channels.Collaborate with University Marketing and the Undergraduate Admissions team to synchronize social media content with digital/print marketing initiatives and important admissions deadlines.Email Marketing and Written Communication :

Work closely with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Communication to develop new strategic email communication plans and monthly marketing initiatives.Support the Assistant Director of Enrollment Communication on various assignments, including copywriting, content development, graphic design, working with our marketing vendors and auditing communication plans.Assist with updating and maintaining the Lipscomb University website and profiles on college search sites as needed.Preferred Qualifications :

Proven experience in social media management, content creation and analytics.Proficiency in producing and editing video content for mobile platforms.Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and creativity.Brings creative, innovative ideas to the table.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead student workers.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Familiarity with social media trends and platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram.Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.Previous experience with social media content creation, managing content calendars and tracking analytics.
