The stability and flexibility of our products is our highest priority.The Individual We're looking for a Creative Director to lead our design team, while working closely with the engineering team. The successful candidate will have a good sense of both design and development, while being a great communicator and leader. This role requires an individual who can balance the artistic direction of motion design with the business and technical needs of achieving scale.Key Responsibilities:Develop and articulate the strategic vision for the architecture of our component library system, aligning with the company's overarching goals and objectives.Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of a scalable and modular component library infrastructure, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in content generation.Recruit, hire, and manage motion designers. Must be able to provide clear direction and give honest feedback.Develop strategies to scale up content creation while maintaining high quality.Create and maintain After Effects tools to be used in-house.Work closely with the engineering team to improve products and processes.Qualifications:Proven experience in creative direction, preferably within the music or entertainment technology sector.Creative and technical proficiency in After Effects:Motion designExpressions (JavaScript)Scripts (ExtendScript)Adaptable, self-driven, and excited to learn new technologies.Inventive in developing effective solutions while collaborating with a remote team.Excellent at communicating using any medium (chat, email, voice, video).Able to manage your time efficiently, in a self-directed work environment.An advocate for organization and documentation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
