Vice President of Media-New Business & Content Development

will drive the growth of our emerging media line of business while overseeing all content and business development efforts for the Hall of Fame Village Media, the Media division at the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (the “Company”; NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW). The VP of Media-New Business & Content Development should be an experienced media professional combined with start-up experience to help drive overall growth for this line of business at HOFV. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be a key member of the executive leadership team.Primary Responsibilities:Create & implement overall media strategy for the business.Meeting/Relationship Development with key media channels including agencies, studios, development houses.Deliver new media deals across multiple platforms including film/tv/direct to consumer streaming. This would also include additional media platforms such as: print media, art, and other forms of content delivery across multiple business verticals.Provide ongoing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Drive new business development activity to include: event development, sponsorship/partnership growth by category, evaluate new business verticals for company growth, support selection of key operational partners that will also generate revenue/sponsorship activity.Key part of developing original programming concepts consistent with the goals and objectives of the company and the Media Division.Identify marketable storylines, narratives, and content opportunities relating to the company, the game of football, and/or the sports and entertainment industries.Understand and adapt to current market conditions and network mandates to enhance revenue potential of company development efforts.Support the flow of information by keeping departments updated on development efforts.Track, monitor, and oversee the status of all media business relationships and contract administration.Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, display decisiveness, and show adaptability.Translate concepts into tactical plans of action and experiment quickly in new content formats.Cultivate and maintain relationships within the entertainment community including agents, managers, producers, production companies, studios, networks, and emerging talent.Create content and business development efforts to support media for all forms of distribution.All other duties as assigned.FULL-TIME/SALARY/EXEMPTCore Competencies:Vision and Strategic Thinking : Addresses issues preemptively, thinks strategically, and anticipates needs and priorities.Entrepreneurship : Champions innovation and encourages new ideas.
