We believe in elevating a company as it scales, delivering dignity to the organization and its employees, and sharing a passion for building a legacy.As the Director of Product Marketing, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive Product Marketing strategies to drive market adoption, revenue growth, and customer success for our portfolio companies. You will work closely with the Demand Generation, Product Management, and Sales teams to position and differentiate our software solutions, generate customer insights, and develop effective go-to-market plans.This is a fully remote role, candidates must reside in the US.Responsibilities:

Work with our portfolio companies to develop clear and differentiated product messaging that highlights the unique value proposition of our software solutions. Create persuasive positioning statements and use cases that resonate with target audiences and address their pain points effectively.Create and implement product marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of our portfolio companies. Develop a deep understanding of each company's target market, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position and promote their software solutions effectively.Collaborate with product management, demand generation, and sales teams to develop go-to-market plans for new product launches, feature releases, and major updates. Refine and optimize target market segments, key messages, and positioning statements to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.Work with the portfolio companies to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to gather insights and identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Use data-driven insights to refine product positioning, messaging, and feature prioritization.Enable the sales/SDR team with effective sales collateral, including sales presentations, battlecards, product videos, and demo scripts. Provide sales training and enablement resources to ensure the sales team is equipped to effectively communicate the value proposition and features of our software solutions across the portfolios.Work with the portfolio companies to help create compelling marketing collateral, including product brochures, white papers, case studies, and blog posts to educate and engage target audiences.Be aware of the competitive landscape, including competitor product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Develop strategies to differentiate our software solutions and maintain a competitive advantage.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, to gather feedback, align strategies, and ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Act as a liaison between these teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and promote best practices across our portfolio of companies.Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Product Marketing efforts. Track and analyze metrics related to product adoption, customer engagement, funnel conversion, and revenue growth. Use data insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize product marketing strategies.Requirements:

10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the SaaS/software industry.Proven track record of driving successful product launches and revenue growth.You have demonstrated experience translating market needs into product requirements, product positioning, and messaging and establishing target customer personas.Strong knowledge of product marketing best practices, including market research, messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze market and customer insights.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and value propositions.Collaborative and cross-functional mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance.Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team of product marketing professionals.Please note that we do not accept unsolicited resumes, work on a Corp-to-Corp basis, or engage with non-vetted external agencies.Why Join Us?
