will lead consulting engagements with clients through all processes of a data visualization project. Senior Consultants can independently lead and manage client projects, clearly communicate with and request support from leadership as needed, prioritize time requirements and deliverables to meet deadlines, work on multiple projects at once while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, and work collaboratively on large projects with other consultants. Responsibilities include delivering on all aspects of a consulting project (internal or external) including discovery, data specs, design, development, user testing, quality assurance, and documentation. The position also supports the team’s growth by sharing knowledge of skills in data prep and visualization tools internally and can create content as needed (blog posts, social media, public-facing visuals, videos) to support the firm in marketing and sales efforts related to data visualization products and services.This position requires North American travel up to 15% of time requiring a current passport.Key ResponsibilitiesCONSULTING DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT: Develop visual prototypes using human-centred design (personas) utilizing current visual best practices and advanced design software skills (Figma) and clearly outline designs into a design document (blueprint) for actual data visualization development. Able to support clients in data specifications and create specification document as needed to communicate data model requirements. Uses current best practices in data visualization and technical functionality of the data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI) to develop and deliver dashboards and reports according to specified designs while meeting report development timelines. Accurately applies 508/WCAG accessibility compliance as required. Able to advise clients and internal consultants on technical aspects of data viz software and manages related performance of dashboard builds.CONSULTING DISCOVERY: Independently leads consulting projects with clients (internal and external) by utilizing health and healthcare experience and research to gather knowledge essential for conducting interviews, synthesize information to clearly understand the project’s needs, provide conceptual data visualization recommendations, match solutions to scope and timeline, create and deliver discovery document, and strategically listening for future opportunities.CONSULTING UT/QA/Documentation: Develops appropriate usability scripts to aid in the implementation of usability tests with client stakeholders. Accurately identifies and assesses necessary changes and prioritizes critical needs. Efficiently corrects issues identified during UT/QA and communicates timely with clients to complete the project. Creates quality user and technical documentation (or videos as required) and delivers them according to project deadlines.CLIENT MANAGEMENT: Leverages strong communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and strategically work to resolve issues as they arise. Coordinates with assigned project managers and leadership to effectively prioritize deliverables across client projects (internal and external) and proactively raises and addresses issues. Completes tasks with a sense of urgency and a level of high quality, continuously meeting project budgeted hours and deliverable dates (timeline), accurately tracks project hours, and updating relevant project management information as required (% complete, QA tracker, etc.)TRAINING AND MARKETING: Participates in the firm’s data analytics and visualization marketing efforts and is knowledgeable of services and products offered. Bolsters the firm as a thought leader by presenting at tradeshows and conferences, webinars, and other external opportunities to showcase our expertise/work. Supports data analytic and visualization content development, or expertise, as requested (blog posts, social media, public-facing visuals, videos).TEAM COLLABORATION: Supports and collaborates with other consultants and team members to ensure high-quality deliverables, and provides expert guidance on complex tasks, driving successful project outcomes. Stays up-to-date on visualization best practices and is a thought leader by researching and learning new skills to bring to the team and improve our work.Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required,

Master’s degree preferred: MA in Public Health (MPH), MS in Health Administration, MS in Health Analytics, MBA in Healthcare, Master Health Administration (MHA), Masters or MBA in other healthcare related or data analytic related field, BA/BS in specific healthcare and data analytic field, such as Health Management Systems, Health Data Analytics if work experience in health data analytics and visualization is advanced/exceptional.5+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms.2+ years of consulting experience and leading and managing data visualization projects from start to finish.Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep as well as some experience managing projects/workbooks on Tableau Server or managing a server environment.Experience effectively engaging with subject-matter experts on complex or nuanced issues and distilling key messages succinctly for verbal or written communications.Experience managing competing priorities.Experience in managing multiple projects at once and meeting deliverable deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Proven expertise collaborating or working simultaneously on projects with other team members with a high degree of efficiency to meet deadlines.Knowledge of public health, healthcare and/or Medicaid.Previous experience working at a public health (government, private/non-profit) or health or healthcare organization (provider, payor, biotech, etc.) or engaging in consulting work with such organizations.Prototyping design skills using Figma or other wireframing tool.Some data preparation skills and experience with tools like Tableau Prep, Alteryx Designer, Power BI, Snowflake, etc.Some knowledge of SQL and experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models.MS Office.Other Requirements

Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills.Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.Strong innovative skills and a desire to continually improve the services and products we deliver as technology advances.Demonstrated expertise in data literacy.Experience and/or desire to support the skill development of other consultants and internal users.A strategic, big-picture thinker, who also values action and excellence in delivery and execution.Strong time management skills and able to prioritize multiple project tasks.The anticipated salary range for candidates is $90,000 /year in our lowest geographic market range to up to $120,000 /year in our highest geographic market range. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, candidates are not hired near the top of the range and compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to

7 % of annual salary.
