DescriptionAVmedia is excited to announce a new partnership with a hotel in the Western Suburbs of Downtown Chicago!We are seeking talented audio-visual technical folks with skills ranging from beginner to advanced.Positions include Technical Director or Technical Coordinator (based on experience), and Audio-Visual Technicians.

Being a great representative of the AVmedia Family Culture.Speaking with customers, teammates, and hoteliers in a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.Always maintaining and protecting all assets from damage, misuse or possible theft.Sets examples for staff in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, customer service and leadership skills, and work habits.Maintain high level of customer service with staff to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.Demonstrates ability to communicate, interact and cooperate with all company employees.Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being always a role model. Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible.TECHNICAL SKILLS
Needed skillsets will vary based on position.Basic knowledge of AV (flipcharts, microphones, laptops, breakout projection, screens, static lighting, audio mixers and speakers, etc).Knowledge of intelligent lighting, networking, advanced switching, HD, laser projection a plus.Background in AV, hospitality events, and/or catering sales is preferred.JOB REQUIREMENTS
The candidate needs to be able to spend at least 8 hours a day on their feet, be available days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and be able to bend down, kneel and squat to work on the floor if needed in a time-sensitive situation to support the AVmedia operations family.If this position requires driving a company vehicle, you must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
