People like you.Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Product Line Marketing Manager to lead a dynamic marketing team within the Analog Power and Interface Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power management, a proven track record of successful product line management, and the ability to coach and develop a team of Product Line Managers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills who can drive product strategy and execution for our MCM Switchers, Power Modules, Analog Controllers, and CAN/LIN products.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of Product Line Managers, providing coaching and professional development to drive performance and product success.Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for the product lines, including market analysis, product positioning, and go-to-market plans.Collaborate with applications, architecture, sales, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.Drive product lifecycle management, from concept through end-of-life, including forecasting, pricing, and inventory management.Engage with key customers and partners to gather insights, reinforce relationships, and identify new business opportunities.Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to maximize profitability and market share.Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to adjust product strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, delivering presentations and product demonstrations as needed.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; an MBA is preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing or product management within the semiconductor industry, specifically with power management products.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing teams.Strong technical acumen and the ability to grasp complex product features and benefits.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to marketing and product management.Ability to travel as required for customer visits, supplier negotiations, and industry events.Travel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Feeling, Hearing, Other, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Seeing, Supervises Others, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:80% sitting, 10% standing, 10% walkingMicrochip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
