Join us.The Business Center engineering team is responsible for developing software to empower all small and medium businesses to succeed by building scalable platforms, seamless products, and comprehensive solutions. As TikTok's revenue keeps growing, so are the unique engineering and UX challenges. As an engineering team, we also dedicate ourselves to solving challenging but interesting problems in a more scalable and innovative way through advanced software architecture, engineering practice, and cutting-edge algorithms. At the same time, we closely work with strategies, data scientists, product managers, operations, and sales teams. Diversity in skills, culture, and background is our source of power.We are looking for engineers who are passionate about innovating, creating, and evolving scalable and reliable software, architecture, and technical solutions to systematically and aggressively enable our Advertisers' success and grow our company's revenue.ResponsibilitiesFront-end development for related platforms and products.Promote and optimize the infrastructure and component abstraction of existing front-end components.Help with product improvement, including technology updates, user experience, and product.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Familiar with HTML/CSS, proficient in CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, etc., understand layout deeply, can implement common effects.Proficiency and experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, EcmaScript 2015+.Proficient in at least one mainstream front-end framework, such as React, Vue, etc., with a deep understanding of hooks and component development.Familiar with front-end engineering and can use one of the building tools such as Webpack, Rollup, Vite, etc.Very strong teamwork skills (e.g., communication, ownership, empathy, honesty).Preferred Qualifications:Relevant experience in advertising, e-commerce, and video industries.Pay attention to cutting-edge technology and have a spirit of exploration and innovation.Strong sense of business insights, data-driven mental model, and thinking process, with hands-on data analytics experience.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life. We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents, and offer a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a company match.
