Job Description

As a Sr Product Marketing Manager, HCP Personal Promotions COVID-10 Marketing, you are responsible for:

Support development and execution of the HCP marketing strategy and tactical plan; directly reports to the US Senior Director of COVID-19 Marketing.Develop and implement promotional plan of action for the COVID-19 sales force, including HCP promotional materials development, field sales direction and training.Effectively translate scientific, clinical and market research data into promotional strategies, messaging and tactical planning.Develop tracking and measurement plan for promotional tactics that informs investment decisions and field executionClosely manage and achieve promotional budget targets and support budget forecasting.Oversee HCP agency relationships and ensure that performance and spends are optimized.Gain approval for marketing materials through the internal promotional review committee process, collaborating closely with medical, legal and regulatory.Manage print production and marketing material inventory management processesDevelop and deliver presentations to a range of internal (US leadership team, field sales) and external audiencesEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies

Please note, this role is located in Foster City CA and require 3 days in office – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and eight years’ experience ORMasters' degree and six years’ experience ORPh.d.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of 8 years in product marketing, advertising or healthcare communications focused on HCP promotions or a minimum of 6 years’ experience, with an advanced degree preferred.Strategic thinking with the ability to formulate, develop and execute tacticallyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different functions in a fast-paced environment, focus on the imperative priorities, share and educate and drive consensusDemonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/ prioritiesExpertise in implementing a pharmaceutical brand plan of action, HCP segmentation/targeting and customer activation.Demonstrated understanding of expense budget planning, tracking and measurement/ROIDemonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materialsStrong written and oral communication skills

The salary range for this position is: $165,580.00 - $214,280.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
