If this sounds like you, apply today at our location in Fort Worth, TX!The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) is responsible for effectively soliciting and booking business from market segments with 15 group rooms. This position will report to the General Manager and the Regional Director of Sales. The Director of Sales & Marketing will carry a group sales booking quota from group rooms, meeting room rental, and catering.Title of Position: Director of Sales & MarketingJob Responsibilities:Prospect for group clients and meet them individually, responsible for total account development.Maximize sales opportunities/revenue from existing accounts in Delphi, SalesPro, STS, or CI that have not been prospected by an existing in-house seller in the past six months.Collaborate with the on-property team, Regional DOSM, and the revenue manager of the specific hotel.Source business and place it in the hotel’s sales system, pricing per the hotel’s guidelines.Responsible for prospecting, quoting, closing, contracting, and creating high-level BEOs & group resumes before handing them over.Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + 25% Quarterly Bonus & 10% Annual Bonus + BenefitsBenefits:Competitive Starting Salary plus bonusPaid time off401KQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred.Minimum of 4-6 years experience in hotel sales required.Brand experience preferred.Familiarity with selling all market segments preferred, but market-specific candidates will be considered.Experience with Delphi, SalesPro, STS, and CI preferred.Apply Now - Director of Sales & Marketing located in Fort Worth, TX!If you would like to be considered for this position, email your resume to jay@geckohospitality.com.
