Sweet James is a growing, fast-paced, Orange County law firm. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our Marketing team at Sweet James. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects within the media sector, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Oversee project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assign tasks, set clear goals, and monitor team performance.Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders, including executives, clients, vendors, and team members.Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. Monitor expenses and report on financial performance.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project success.Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Implement and oversee quality control processes.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and performance.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project processes and methodologies. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the media and event industry.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Media Studies, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong understanding of media production processes and workflows.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Superior organizational and time management skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.Ability to navigate and resolve conflicts effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
