About This Role

As the Manager of Internal Communications at Compass Health Center, you’ll play a critical role in leading the development and execution of Compass’ internal communications strategy across the organization as we continue to scale. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Compass’ annual communication calendar, and devising strategies to engage the entire organization in our growth strategy and key initiatives. This position reports to the Chief People Officer, and over time may directly manage a team as we expand.

What You'll Do:

Develop and execute the annual internal communication calendar including quarterly leadership newsletters, performance updates, and DEI communications.Partner closely with Senior Director of Clinical Communications to develop strategies for increasing staff engagement on Compass’ strategy and key initiatives.Manage Compass’ intranet site “Compass Connect” and work to optimize engagement on the platform.Manage Compass’ leadership SharePoint site to ensure all leaders have easy access to the information they need to do their jobs effectively.Act as the administrator and main SME for Workshop (internal communication tool).Plan and coordinate content for all staff meetings and all people leaders and work to maximize engagement of those venues. Coordinate how the information shared in these venues cascades to site-level meetings.Develop Compass’ annual DEI report through close collaboration with other People & Talent team leaders.Develop and maintain a high level of comprehension of Compass’ daily operations, strategic position, financial and operating objectives.Work closely with program leadership and employees to improve work relationships, create culture, build morale, and retention.Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal communications.Excellent writing skills and proven track record of developing engaging and digestible employee communication.Proven track record of using internal communication tools to develop high-quality content across different mediums.Experience developing DEI communication.Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint.Proven ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.Extremely organized and detail-oriented.Ability to maintain calm under pressure and flex with the needs of the business/team.Great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and staff.Positive attitude and passion for working in the mental health space.Ability to prioritize and manage a large breadth of work.About Our Team:

Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming.
