We are looking for a

Marketing Finance Manager

to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

The Marketing Finance Manager will collaborate with a key account team to manage a significant worldwide marketing investment budget. The role requires a blend of financial management and communication skills, working closely with internal stakeholders and external hardware partner stakeholders. This role is integral to a team focused on marketing planning, strategy, and execution with OEM partners.

Responsibilities:

Budget Management & Reporting:

Own the budget management, including analysis and reporting, for a large-scale marketing program. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Data Analytics (50%):

Perform data analytics, process financial data, and generate reports using advanced Excel and Power BI. This includes creating pivot tables, linking spreadsheets, and conducting in-depth data analysis.

Stakeholder Communication (30%):

Communicate regularly with internal Microsoft stakeholders and hardware partner stakeholders, effectively managing relationships across marketing, procurement, and finance teams.

Project Management (20%):

Track work items, monitor progress, and report on project statuses. Support light marketing project management for Spanish-speaking countries if capable.

Marketing Program Support:

Assist in managing the financial aspects of marketing programs, ensuring that all expenditures are aligned with the program goals. Familiarity with joint marketing agreement funds is a plus.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in financial management, with a strong focus on Excel and Power BI for data analysis.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas (e.g., VLOOKUPs), and linking spreadsheets.

Proficiency in Power BI for managing dashboards and conducting data analysis.

Working knowledge of SharePoint and Teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Basic to intermediate project management skills, with experience tracking work items and monitoring progress.

Understanding of financial accounting processes, including invoice management, accruals, and worldwide finance concepts (e.g., constant dollars, FX rates).

Preferred Qualifications:

Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred to support marketing projects in Spanish-speaking countries.

Marketing Experience: Familiarity with marketing tactics and content types, as well as experience working with marketing teams, is a plus.

Industry Experience: Prior experience with Microsoft, particularly in a marketing or partner capacity, is advantageous.

Salary Range:

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $58,000 to $63,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
