The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files. We need a content writer/developer to partner with our existing team to improve our policy, and process documentation. This will serve both internal and external audiences.*Only resumes with samples will be considered**Job Responsibilities:Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminologyMaintain records and files of work and revisionsConfer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publicationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications2-4 years experience requiredExperience in in creating documentation for a technical audienceExcellent writing, editing, and communication skillsAbility to read some programming code and understand legal languageCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsThe ideal resume would contain experience with legal language and technical language. Experience creating process guides that include both text and diagrams. Previous experience with Visio ideal. Familiarity with the use of AI in writing.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.20 to $44.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.About Aquent Talent:
