The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts, enhancing the visibility and reputation of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and sales strategies, a deep understanding of the unique needs of international students, and a commitment to supporting their growth. The CMO will work closely with the Executive Director/CEO and senior leadership team to drive enrollment, increase revenue, and advance the center’s mission and strategic goals.

Essential Functions

Brand Management:

Define and manage the school's brand, aligning it with the school's mission, vision, and values. Develop and implement brand strategies ensuring consistent and compelling brand messaging across all communication channels, enhancing the school’s reputation and visibility.

Marketing and Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and student enrollment aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and goals, targeting our ideal client, partners, and key stakeholders.

Digital Marketing:

Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to enhance the school's online presence and leverage digital channels for student recruitment.

Marketing and Sales Campaigns:

Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing and sales campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.

Advertising and Promotion:

Manage the production of all internal and external promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Review and approve advertising concepts.

Market Research:

Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and understand consumer opinions.

Public Relations:

Serve as the public face of the school in interviews and presentations. Develop and maintain beneficial public relations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, partners, funders, and community organizations.

Team Leadership:

Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.

Internal Marketing:

Lead internal marketing initiatives alongside the human resources department to strengthen the organization culture to fulfill its mission in alignment with our core beliefs, quality standards, and service values.

Marketing Metrics:

Monitor and analyze marketing and sales performance metrics, optimizing strategies and tactics to maximize ROI and drive enrollment growth.

Brand Awareness:

Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, promoting the organization's programs and services.

Quality and Innovation:

Stay informed about trends, innovations, and best practices in marketing, sales, and international education, leveraging this knowledge to inform strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Compliance and Governance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, exceeding accreditation standards while maintaining the highest ethical standards and organizational integrity.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior marketing and sales leadership role within an educational institution or non-profit organization.

Proven success in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies, driving enrollment growth, increasing revenue, preparing documentation for accreditation and re-accreditation within USCIS compliance.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build strong relationships.

A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by international students.

A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.

Familiarity with marketing, sales, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.

Ability to travel, as needed, to represent the organization and build strategic partnerships.
