OEC Group offers hybrid work, competitive salary, a full benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and so much more!What we’re looking for…+ Entry Writer with 3-5 years of entry writing experience and familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations.+ Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.+ Cargowise is a plus.About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):+ Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner.+ Ensures that all entries are properly classified by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record.+ Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department.+ Develops and maintains customer profiles based on the customer’s shipment history.+ Coordinates with customers to classify new commodities per according to HTS.+ Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally.Work ScheduleNew York Office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (Rotational overtime on Sundays)Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office.Education & Experience+ Associate's degree preferred.+ 3-5 years of entry writing experience.Salary$55,000-$65,000 annually based on education and experience level.Perks & Benefits of OEC Group:After successfully completing and passing a standard 90-day introductory period the employee is provided with the following benefits package.
