To learn more about the CEB, visit the website (ov/ceb) .The Communications and External Engagement Manager will report directly to the Executive Director, will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and will play a key role creating and executing the Board’s communications and outreach strategy. This position provides an opportunity for meaningful, equity-addressing work and to help establish an agency from the ground up.The Communications and External Engagement Manager is responsible for creating, executing, and managing a comprehensive plan to engage key external and internal stakeholders and the public on the core mission of the CEB. The plan will include public/media relations efforts, Board communications, social media and website strategy, community engagement, and external relations (including legislative relations). This position will provide leadership over engagement functions for the Board and will also serve as the chief spokesperson for the Board.**Minimum Qualifications**To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Ensure that your resume contains descriptions of your work experiences sufficient for comparison against the requirements stated below and indicate the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.Four (4) years of communications experience including public and media relations, engagement and outreach efforts, or legislative outreach. A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field may substitute for 12 months of experience.
