About the job

SAS Americas Marketing team is seeking a seasoned B2B marketer with a passion for building and activating global multi-channel marketing campaigns that are innovative and differentiating in the market. This individual will be comfortable collaborating with a cross-functional, integrated marketing team and adept at leveraging analytical curiosity to understand the customer, the metrics and how to optimize for the best results.

This individual will build and execute marketing campaigns that appeal to Heads of Business and IT. The focus will be SAS Viya, our cloud-based platform that enables organizations to manage, model and deploy data and AI solutions with speed, scalability and trust.

As a Senior Marketing Campaign Manager, you will:

Create a multi-channel, go-to-market strategy that’s mapped to the strategic business goals and is part of a full customer journey program.

Lead and work collaboratively with global demand marketing counterparts and other key stakeholders to build integrated campaigns.

Drive the strategy, develop the plan, and execute marketing campaigns that improve reputation and build demand for SAS Viya.

Design campaigns with the customer at the center, with relevant offers at each stage of the customer journey. Offers can extend to many channels, including web, social, webinars, live events and email.

Communicate the marketing strategy and campaign details to executive, sales and marketing leadership, and other key stakeholders across the organization.

Analyze metrics and communicate results, including traffic and conversion statistics, lead generation, pipeline impact and return on investment.

Work as a key liaison to multiple organizations across SAS, including product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, marketing sciences, communications, creative and more.

Required Qualifications

At least 8 years of experience in demand generating marketing or related function in the technology or other business-to-business industry.

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Demonstrated understanding of B2B technology concepts and target personas of analytics, data, AI and cloud.

Experience working with a multi-national or global organization, collaborating across different cultures, time zones and geographies.

Experience working with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or approaches geared to a segmented account list. Demonstrated project management and meeting facilitation skills.

Ability to convey in-depth knowledge of marketing metrics, including revenue, pipeline, and leads and be able to tell a story through the metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and “soft” skills with demonstrated ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.

Demonstrated understanding of marketing communication concepts/functions and software such as the Microsoft Suite of products, plus marketing tools including sales force automation, marketing automation, and social media tools.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
