The Opportunity:Booz Allen's Enterprise Digital Experience team manages the company's external-facing digital presence, including digital marketing and social media channels. We sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, experience design, data analytics, and leading-edge technology, supporting the company's mission of "empowering people to change the world" through exceptional digital experiences. We are seeking a talented and experienced hybrid UX/UI Designer & Developer, focused on designing and developing engaging and intuitive digital user experiences that make an impact. You will display a passion for understanding the needs and motivations of end-users and delivering experiences that drive business outcomes, particularly in the context of digital marketing.In this role, you'll work closely with marketing and brand leaders to deliver scalable interface design patterns that support marketing needs while maintaining alignment to brand standards. You'll set the standard for front-end development practices, coding standards, and establish patterns and libraries for reusable front-end code. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, creating intuitive, accessible user experiences for the web or software applicationsExperience with human-centered design processes and methodologies and designing and developing cross-browser compatible, responsive, and mobile-first websitesExperience in modern web standards and proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etcExperience in Sass/SCSS or technologies for writing and maintaining scalable CSSExperience with Webpack, Node, NPM, and unit testingExperience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDKnowledge of content design, information architecture, and SEO best practicesAbility to pay strict attention to detail and be comfortable operating in white spaceAbility to display an online portfolio of work samples highlighting expertise in UI/UX design and front-end developmentBachelor's degree in Design or Computer ScienceNice if you have:Experience with enterprise CMS platforms, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)Experience working with or creating design systems to ensure consistency and reuse across productsExperience designing and developing marketing emails and email templatesExperience with Java and integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party servicesExperience with Angular or AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, React, KnockoutReact, or Greenstock Animation Platform (GSAP)Experience with creating personalized experiences via Adobe TargetKnowledge of digital analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similarExperience with user research techniques and methodologiesPossession of excellent problem-solving skillsCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
