The team is comprised of passionate brand and retail marketers with a desire to inspire and affirm caring consumers to spread more care and joy into our worldthrough greeting cards and specialty gifts. The CX Marketing team is responsible for national brand and mass channel marketing strategies and execution; social media strategy and execution, influencer programs and public relations, local marketing strategies for Hallmark Gold Crown network and a best-in-class Crown Rewards loyalty program growth and retention strategies, as well as marketing support for Hallmark Keepsakes Ornaments, Gift Wrap solutions and other Hallmark product focuses.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTEReporting to the Marketing Manager Public Relations, this role will be responsible for the implementation and execution of public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in writing, PR, and media relationship management. We are looking for a self-starter with a strategic mindset who is well-organized, energetic, and eager to find new ways to reach audiences. Associate Marketing Manager Public Relations

will work cross-functionally with other marketing and communications teams to align with the bigger organizational and industry landscape. They will lead consumer PR campaign development and deployment including earned and paid media integrations, crafting news releases, and evaluating both proactive and reactive media opportunities. They must leverage consumer and category insights in meaningful ways and have the ability to link short-term tasks to overarching business goals. This role will also be accountable for presenting new ideas and new thinking to continually elevate PR activities and will play a key role in contributing to and driving team culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experienceAt least 3 years of public relations, communications, or marketing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience using public relations tools, such as Meltwater Consumer insights research and trend analysis experienceStrong understanding of social media tools and platformsExperience creating executive-level presentationsExperience with multichannel marketing campaigns

ADDITIONAL DETAILSThis position is hybrid, working onsite at headquarters in Kansas City, MO 1-2 days per weekThis is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
