Aquent Studios x Adobe is a custom-built creative agency partnership that provides
scalability with world-class talent to Adobe’s in-house studio and web team. This
collaboration creates exciting opportunities to work with Aquent Studios and impact
millions of customers, showcasing Adobe’s products via innovative storytelling and
unique visual experiences.

We are looking for a Creative Director to join our team at Aquent Studios in support of Adobe
Photoshop. This CD will develop breakthrough marketing creative content and experiences for
Adobe’s Photoshop customers. Adobe’s mission is to deliver cohesive brand expression that
inspires a new generation of creatives while supporting our critical established base of creative
pros.

As the Creative Director, you’ll work closely with all levels of creatives to produce and optimize
various campaign content. You will come to deeply understand our users’ needs and inspire the
creative team to create impactful communications that increase customers’ overall product
adoption. You’ll consistently drive for content that translates messaging and business goals into
impactful, aspirational marketing content.

The perfect candidate will have experience directing creative for digital campaign assets such
as original imagery to demo Photoshop’s newest features, emails, web, banner ads, video—as
well as multimedia event assets, blogs, and print marketing content. They’ll understand the role
marketing and brand-level communications play in the user experience, and appreciate that with
our users, a little often goes a long way.

What you need to succeed:

  • A “knock your socks off” portfolio that proves a second-to-none depth of imagination, artistry, and conceptual ability. Both conceptual and executional work needs to be included (across art direction, user experience, copy, and motion)
  • Strong background developing and executing brand and product campaign work
  • Strong, sophisticated graphic design sensibilities with an impeccable visual standard
  • Keen eye for what is on brand for Adobe
  • A strong drive to innovate and a solid pulse on new markets and cultural and social trends
  • Experience working cross-functionally to establish strategic and creative approaches for any given project
  • Continually develop and inspire colleagues to innovate and harness new ways of thinking
  • Creatively lead the pitches of new concepts that articulate a compelling story

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related experience as a conceptual creative, with 3+ years’ experience working in a leadership role
  • Outstanding ability to deliver innovative and on-strategy ideas which are highly resolved
  • Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal and inter-departmental
  • Thought leadership; a strong point of view; ability to contribute to strategic development of an assignment; creative ideas and the ability to promote conceptual thinking among the team
  • A strong ability and experience in leading, directing and managing a group of cross-disciplinary teams
  • A solid understanding of digital media as well as the marketing industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology
