Product Designers at Snowflake work on a variety of surfaces like data visualization, code editors, monitoring and alerting, marketplace experiences, collaboration, and more.YOUR IMPACT:
Drive a significant, complex, and technical product area forward, shaping vision and owning executionDelight customers by designing high-quality products that deliver meaningful valueChampion user empathy in everything you do, evangelizing partners to do the sameYOUR ROLE:Identify and drive design opportunities by connecting the dots between user and business needsCollaborate and effectively influence your engineering and product partners to design and deliver excellent productsWork end-to-end by identifying opportunities, establishing the vision, and working with engineering to deliver high quality, robust solutionsCollaborate with the broader design team to ensure a seamless product experiencePartner with researchers, data scientists, and product managers to drive solutions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative customer insightsDeliver detailed, robust design solutions, and work directly with engineering to to ensure a high quality product reaches the hands of our customersUtilize and extend Snowflake's Design SystemDevelop strong rationale for design decisions, and articulate your perspectiveYOUR EXPERIENCE:8+ years as a product designerExperience collaborating closely with engineering and product partnersExperience working with data and technical complexityEnd-to-end ownership of meaningful features or surfacesYour end-user advocacy has shaped product experiences you can point toShipped products that have simplified complex workflowsYou have iterated on shipped products based on customer usage and feedbackNICE TO HAVE:Experience in fast-paced environments with quick delivery and iteration cyclesAbility to prototype either alone or with engineering partners to get out of mockups fasterInterest in the data space and cutting edge technologiesExperience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript/React, and CSS
