Mid Level Interior Designer

Sasaki, Boston, Massachusetts, us, 02298

Sasaki is an interdisciplinary design firm with a seventy plus year history of creating authentic, equitable, and inspiring places. Our Interior Design practice focuses on the places where we work and learn, with an emphasis on workplace design, building repositioning, higher education facilities, and sometimes unique collaborations with other disciplines at Sasaki. We believe that learning from each other creates great design.

Our team of interior designers and architects deliver full-spectrum designs of interior space, working from the initial concept through the final details. They don't just apply finishes; they focus on crafting a clear design story that works on every level. And they’re business and brand-savvy—attuned to the current strategic objectives of our clients and naturally inclined to think ahead about how our built surroundings respond to the future.

At Sasaki we purposefully take on challenging work that we see as opportunities to evolve and stretch. As such, we look for teammates who are excited to engage fully from the get-go. Ideas matter tremendously around here and no matter your level, as a Sasaki designer you will be encouraged to have a point of view, to share your thinking often, to push design further, and to develop a comfortable rapport with clients. For a mid-sized firm, we guard our small-firm feel focusing less on hierarchy than on working together to yield the best designs.

The most successful candidates can deliver design excellence, attention to detail, organization and time management skills, and potential to grow into leadership roles over time. Not every designer needs to deliver on all of these attributes at once, but this is the mix of talent we seek. If you think you can add something special to our team and our practice we would love to hear from you.
