With beautiful spaces, real-world experiences, and a built-in community, Moonrise is a brand-new education system.We're seeking a Head of Content for a full-time role at Moonrise. As Head of Content, you will lead the curation and development of learning experiences at Moonrise. These experiences will scale through our app across all locations, starting with our pilot location in Decatur, GA. Experiences include live, on-demand, and in-person 1:1s, projects, expeditions, classes, apprenticeships, workshops, events, sports, field trips, pods, quests, challenges, performances, kits, clubs, and courses.What we want to see:Work samples that wow us. You can't shut up about it.You're a bit of a unicorn. You can do videos, podcasts, courses, events, projects, and more.Design-driven. You balance cinematic standards with authenticity and speed.You could create a class that rivals the production quality of Peloton by yourself, no problem.Can create scalable projects using AI and other online tools.Experienced in podcast creation, including guest curation, outreach, video, audio, editing, and clipsVersed in online course creation, using tools like Teachable or CircleYou were bored with school and had strong opinions on how to make it more engaging.Wants to do the work, not build a teamDoesn't need a manager. Thrives when given autonomy and trustLikes working with small teams of A-players, not bureaucracies or large corporationsStrong belief in our mission.Thinks kids are awesome and believes in taking them seriously.Design-driven. Obsessive about the little details.
Expectations and responsibilities:Own all aspects of content creation at MoonriseCurate amazing guides to host experiences (ex. a real-life marine biologist who hosts a weekly live class)Create video podcasts from start to finish without a teamCreate scalable projects using AIRepurpose content as audio and video clipsBuild a library of media, tools, and online learning resourcesManage the publishing of content in the Moonrise app
