November 25, 2024The Art and Art History Department in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2025, in the area of Printmaking. The successful candidate will oversee our spacious, state-of-the-art printmaking facility and teach key courses in our studio art curriculum—undergraduate intaglio and relief printing processes. The print studio has three presses, including a new Takach Etching press. The applicant should be an artist with a record of creative practice in print and a working knowledge of related art forms such as digital printmaking, photography, drawing, and book arts. Knowledge of contemporary approaches to printmaking and its art historical significance is also essential.Minimum requirements

: Master of Fine Arts in hand by August 31, 2025. Candidates with one or more years of post-Masters teaching experience will be given preference.Application instructions:
