The Brand Creative Director for the Lee brand is a key leadership role responsible for establishing, guiding, and curating how the brand shows up to the consumer across all advertising and marketing touchpoints. You will set the creative direction for the brand on a global and seasonal basis and be responsible for driving the brand's point of view through marketing. Your creative leadership will inspire storytelling that is emotionally, culturally relevant and unique to the brand. This leader will report to the Global VP of Marketing and will help establish and evolve the brand equity and visual identity. Helping to bring creative vision to life, this person will guide storytelling and consumer engagement, and ensure consistency of all marketing touchpoints on a global basis.Key Responsibilities:Influence and guide senior creative partners (advertising agencies, internal creative services teams and external creative collaborators) and stakeholders to execute overall creative direction in line with brand strategy. Inspire team to think conceptually and develop big ideas while concurrently supporting the team to bring the ideas to life.Lead/guide the Lee visual brand representation across all areas including marketing, digital and retail. Owned and wholesale.In partnership with the Brand team define seasonal storytelling of the Lee Brand. Helping guide the creative process and seasonal art direction and campaign concepts. Sign-off of all product and brand marketing assets for the Lee brand.Collaborate with the Licensing team to manage the brand aesthetic across all licensed product categories by building strong partnerships with the licensees and developing a clear understanding of each of their specific market needs.Oversee and approve creative projects with full Lee stakeholders. Ensure creative output delivers the desired brand experience globally.Leadership:Great communicator with an ability to turn complex strategy into clear simple, actionable plans. Able to integrate, operate and influence inside and outside the business, building relationships and trust across business levels and diverse cultures and markets.Strong at problem solving, bold and resilient in decision making. Objective and decisive; able to identify truly value-driving initiatives among a wide range of opportunities, then driving action to deliver that value.Design process management skills- calendar, workload, innovative processes.Strong listening and negotiation skills and ability to interpret feedback.Proven experience in building a lifestyle brand and driving the creative vision through multiple product categories.Experience/Education:Exceptional design and creative talent. Complete grasp of graphic design, photography, moving picture and their principles.Exceptional communications skills, ability to lead an organization, articulate business strategy, and present creative work.Ability to inspire a team and lead creative design process; to set a creative tone and to inspire ideas/new concepts; ability to conceptually visualize and build brand assets.Comprehensive experience managing multiple categories of the business with a recognizable strength in denim, woven tops, casual bottoms and outerwear.Experience of operating in varied global business models (licensed, distributor, wholesale, retail) with an ability to understand and execute consumer initiatives through these routes-to-market.
