Our client is seeking a
Women's Handbag/ Bag Designer
to join the team on a contract basis in their New York office!Responsibilities:Develop CADs/ design specifications for seasonal collections.Heavily utilize Adobe Creative Suite for sketches, mood boards, themes, etc.Conduct trend and concept research.Participate in all design meetings and proto reviews.Travel weekly to clients in NYC/ manufacturers.Be able to work on various projects at once.Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to develop and edit designs.Maintain data tracking in internal system (PLM & Excel).Collaborate with various staff/cross functional teams in creating boards, decks, and other deign specs as needed.Keep seasonal colors, pallets and standards up to date in necessary work spaces.Requirements:3-5 years+ experience as a handbag/ accessories designer in a corporate setting.Associate or Bachelor Degree in DesignProficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Express.*Must be comfortable with domestic travel/ travelling NYC weekly.Please submit your resume & portfolio for consideration.You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
