We are seeking an

Experienced Marketing Communications Specialist

to join our team at Boeing Future of Flight (BFoF) in

Mukilteo, WA . In this role, you will play a leading role in developing and executing our brand and marketing campaigns. Your work will focus on tourism, visitorship, and community partnerships. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leaders, you will contribute to strategic marketing and communication plans using a range of paid and organic channels and engagement best practices. You will also partner with Boeing's Media Relations team to support earned media efforts.

Your role will be crucial in attracting visitors, engaging stakeholders and sharing Boeing's story through tours and experiences for audiences around the world. To excel in this position, you will bring strong strategic thinking, excellent marketing communication skills, and a deep understanding of effective marketing and storytelling techniques.

About us: Boeing Future of Flight is part of Boeing's fully integrated subsidiary known as Boeing Stores, Inc., a centralized experiential marketing function and Profit and Loss (P&L) operation that promotes the Boeing brand through strategic activations. This group leads multi-channel internal and global branded merchandise distribution and operation of Boeing's brand home and public attraction, BFoF.

This is a business critical role for delivering upon revenue targets and increasing brand awareness/brand reputation.

Position Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and drive traffic to the BFoF experienceConducts market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapeCollaborates with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensures consistent messagingDevelops and manages marketing planning calendars and timelines for BFoF, aligning to broader marketing calendars across the teamManages project processes, including printing needs, coordinating the dissemination of materials, ordering promotional items, and working with graphic design and video teams in the production of marketing materialsCreates and gathers materials for meetings and public events that may include displays and signage. This position may also assist with photography or videography projects related to communication projectsIdentifies and pitches approved stories regarding BFoF to regional and national mediaCommunications Strategy and Execution:

Develops and executes a comprehensive communications plan to support marketing initiatives and enhance brand awarenessDevelops and executes internal communications plans for critical milestones and eventsSupports the implementation and execution of crisis communications protocols for Boeing Stores, Inc.Earned Media Management:

Identifies Spearhead earned and owned proactive communications strategies, analyzes results to measure impact of earned media effortsWorks in close partnership with Boeing Media Relations team, develops and maintains relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and maximize earned media opportunitiesCreates compelling press releases, media kits, and other materials to effectively communicate our brand story and key messagesCommunity Partnerships:

Works in partnership with Future of Flight and Boeing Government Operations, identify and establish strategic partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community influencers to enhance brand visibility and drive engagementCollaborates with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives, events, and promotions that align with our brand values and objectivesActs as a brand ambassador and represent BFoF at select community events, trade shows, and industry conferencesContent Creation and Brand Messaging:

Ensures brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all marketing communicationsCreates and edits marketing collateral such as promotional copy, radio scripts, e-newsletters, blog posts, social media content, and website updates; write, design, and produce presentations and hand out materials; and edit written materials created by team members for brand voice consistency, style, and grammarJoin our team and be part of an exciting journey to drive traffic to the Boeing Future of Flight experience and shape our brand. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future. This position has the expectation to be on-site at Boeing Future of Flight at minimum three days/week outside of scheduled site events and meetings.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience developing strategic communications including leader messages, internal stories, web and social media content3+ years of experience working with digital marketing solutions3+ years of experience demonstrating creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills1+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across functions1+ years of experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environmentCapable to work outside of standard business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferredProven experience in marketing strategy development and executionStrong understanding of earned media management and public relationsMay work select weekends or outside of normal business hours given the operating hours at Boeing Future of FlightExperience in the tourism sector preferredTypical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300
