Reporting to the Director of Hospitality, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with day-to-day marketing administrative duties, but not limited to, marketing and financial reporting, invoicing, scheduling appointments, maintaining a calendar, and answering telephones. This person will also assist with marketing initiatives and programs, to include coordinating marketing projects, assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Support the Hotel Marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, and/or content marketing.Assist with developing and managing images, content, and video by updating partners marketing programs.Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing copies for various marketing channels, ensuring consistency throughout.Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.Facilitate certain hotel marketing promotions, including ROI analysis, promotion, or rate code creation, set up routing of comp elements, creative development, legal review, list extraction, and fact sheet or additional internal communication.Work with Hotel Sales and multiple partners to create and deploy marketing emails which are sent out to specified databases, prospect or known.Review and route creative approval of partner emails, banners, sites, and other promotional collateral.Assist and maintain an accurate filing, reporting, and invoicing system for all vendors, partners, and comply with general office procedures.Preparation and/or audit of documents and reports including meeting recaps, marketing calendar, expense and comp reports, accounting, billing, and invoicing for management team.Schedule appointments and meetings with vendors, coordinate travel arrangements and events etc.Answer, screen and direct all incoming calls.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested of management team.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.1-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, travel, or hospitality industry a plus.Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.Must have a high level of creativity.Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.Proficiency in programs in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.Strong desire to learn.Physical Demands:• Work is performed in an office setting.Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.May be exposed to smokeThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 75 pounds occasionallyEye/hand coordination.Use of standard office equipment.Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbolsMay be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
