Position Description:

LCG is seeking an Engagement Design Lead will support the client by driving the expansion of innovation mindsets and exposure to services through strategic event design and planning. The role will require coordination with stakeholders, management of both in-person and virtual events, and support for the execution of Innovation programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation within large-scale, complex environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Develop and manage comprehensive event plans that detail objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for each event.• Lead the execution of key innovation events, such as demo days, Innovate-a-thons, and Innovation Days, ensuring they align with the Innovation Hub's strategic objectives.• Oversee logistical aspects, including venue selection, catering, AV setup, and digital platforms for virtual events.• Ensure all events have clearly defined goals and metrics for success, conducting post-event evaluations to assess impact and gather insights for future improvements.• Identify and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of event services.• Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers, ensuring that all deliverables meet the organization's standards and compliance requirements.• Develop risk management plans for events, identifying potential issues and establishing contingency plans to mitigate risks.• Work closely with internal teams, including the Innovation Hub, communication teams, and executive leadership, to ensure stakeholder alignment and participation.• Engage with external stakeholders such as industry experts, technology partners, and thought leaders to enhance event content and outcomes.• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure that event objectives meet the diverse needs of stakeholders.• Develop targeted communication strategies for engaging stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and actively participating in events.• Coordinate pre-event briefings and post-event follow-ups with stakeholders to maintain engagement and gather feedback.• Support the design and implementation of innovation programs that encourage creative thinking, collaboration, and the generation of new ideas within the organization.• Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and ideation events to engage participants and drive innovation.• Collaborate with the Innovation Hub team to integrate new ideas and solutions into ongoing projects and initiatives.• Apply Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to ensure that events and programs are tailored to the needs and preferences of participants.• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform the design and delivery of events, ensuring a positive and impactful participant experience.• Iterate on event design based on feedback and emerging trends to continuously improve the relevance and effectiveness of innovation events.• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event, tracking participation, engagement, and impact.• Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing event outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and lessons learned.• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event, tracking participation, engagement, and impact.• Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing event outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and lessons learned.

Requirements:•

Bachelor's Degree

in Business Administration, Human-Centered Design, or Change Management , or a related field is

required .• 5+ years of experience in event management, stakeholder engagement, and supporting innovation programs.• Certifications: Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is highly preferred or equivalent.• Active USDA clearance preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $76,000 to $110,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The target salary for this role is $92,000 per year. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
