What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Secret clearance.

Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors, and with our team of other awesome Inflowees. You will be supporting the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Defense (DOD).

What will I be doing? Leading and managing a team of professional Desktop Publishers and Public Affairs Specialists working to provide professional desktop publishing services for the creation of OIG publications, reports, and other communications materials (such as posters, flyers, brochures, fact sheets, exhibit displays, photographs, and website content) for print and electronic publication. You will be communicating with the team and customer on status of projects, ensuring deliverables are met by the team, improving team productivity and processes.

In addition, you will:

Under tight deadlines, prepare, maintain, and update reports or documents following a standardized Government process, template, and style guideUse Government provided tools for desktop publishing activities (Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint)Provide excellent editing services with the ability to catching spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, formatting issues, graphic alignment and formatting issuesTake large amounts of text and graphics from Microsoft Word documents and convert content to the proper format in Adobe InDesign, following the Government's approved style guidePrepare, edit, and arrange content for print or electronic publications, ensuring 508 compliancyPrepare, maintain, and update templates for documents and presentation chartsPerform document file conversions to enable electronic publishingConceptualize designs to create and edit a variety of communications materials such as logos, posters, banners, flyers, brochures, and other media as requestedAssist with developing and maintaining publications style guides, templates, instructions, and instruction manualsManage report and creative projects using database management systems and/or programs as required by the Government for tracking purposesWork with team of Desktop Publishers and and Public Affairs Specialists to ensure quality products each time, without errorProvide status updates on deliverables and timelinesManage projects from concept through completion for report publicationsCreate and maintain templates in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesignHandle confidential and classified information, ensuring information is not distributed or communicated outside of approved individuals/systemsOversee workload management and distribution for the teamTrack and report project progress and team performance metricsCoordinate and schedule onsite SIPR report tasks and manage team members assigned to these reportsOversee team timesheets and PTO request submissions and approvalsCoordinate and facilitate team meetingsCoordinate parking arrangements for team membersSupport onboarding and offboarding tasks for new and departing team membersConduct in-person and virtual interviews of candidatesPlan and coordinate quarterly team morale eventsTrack CAC cards and manage property-related tasks and inventoryOther duties as assignedWhat experience, training, and education do I need?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

4+ years of experience or 8 years of experience without a degreeExperience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and IllustratorHighly proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent grammar and editing skillsStrong focus and attention to detailActive Secret clearanceThe following is preferred:

BS / BA Degree highly desiredUnderstanding of 508 standards and principles

Where is the client site that I would be working for? You will be working in Alexandria, VA. Address disclosed after your clearance is verified. Currently this position is remote, but you must be able to go onsite as needed.
