Someone who can communicate well with all contacts, and anticipate and update the team on various projects. Skilled in interpersonal communication, administrative skills, and knowledgeable in computer applications like MS Word, Excel, Email Outlook Express. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., group proposals, group resumes, and contracts)Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying)Establish an efficient trace file to ensure that all business booked is properPrepare and disseminate month-end reportsConsistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging serviceEnsure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customersEscort general inquiries on-site inspectionsPrioritize all telephone calls and in-person visitors, scheduling appointments as requiredMaintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, colleagues, and global sales networkEnsure all sales promotional literature is current and updatedUpdate convention bureau listsProvide all administration duties for the Sales officeAssist with the maintenance of accounts, contacts, activity, and business details within appropriate software applicationsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesWill have proactive sales role/experience to meet clients or telesales if requiredWeekly tracking for sales activities and proposals/contractsBe familiar with Opera and Accor toolsSupport the marketing initiatives, as per the monthly planOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous sales or administrative experience preferredComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant computer applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline is an assetExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal requiredStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Why work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
