Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityThe KEMET Technical Marketing Manager has responsibility to position KEMET and its products in the market space in a manner that will resonate with the various technical personas of our business. These personas include design engineers, engineering managers, sourcing managers, and others that would be interested in the technology of KEMET, whether they are highly technical or non-technical business professionals. This role acts as a translator between the key features and benefits of our products and technologies and what the needs are of electrical systems and the engineers that design them. Another major responsibility of this role is to advance the development of K-SIM, the KEMET simulation platform. A candidate with strong technical acumen as well as strong content and digital marketing skills will be the most successful one.Responsibilities:Coordinate on positioning and strategy with Technical Product ManagersDesign and execute marketing campaigns to align with business goals and strategyProduce, review, and ideate content in support of campaigns and new product introduction (NPI) activitiesExecute, architect, and optimize that NPI process to ensure on-time delivery of contentIdentify digital key performance indicators (KPIs) of digital content and align on strategies to improve content performanceAscertain technical accuracy and relevance of content assetsCreate and execute on the roadmap for the current and future state of KEMET digital toolsCoordinate with product managers and R&D professionals on the development and implementation of component models into K-SIMComplete and coordinate user acceptance testing of features related to K-SIM and the KEMET digital engagement platformWork with digital engagement on the technical positioning and user expectations of KEMET digital propertiesIdentify and communicate technology drivers that will impact the positioning and adoption of KEMET productsCoordinate and grow the KEMET Global Webinar series via content selection and promotionCreate and execute on a technical content architecture strategy that is complete in scale, reach, and types of technical contentAct as a technical resource to advise other marketing groups on technology and engineering culture and processesRequirements:BS or Master’s in Electrical Engineering5+ years in a design engineering role including circuit design and validationDesign experience with power delivery network schemes and topologiesIn-depth knowledge of semiconductor operation and technologiesExperience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Adobe Experience ManagerExperience with inbound marketing techniques such as content marketing and account-based marketingExperience with marketing automation flows and tools such as Marketo or HubSpotKnowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) techniquesExceptional written, verbal, and presentation skillsUnderstanding of the electronic supply chain and fulfillment organizations10%-25% travel to the field and between KEMET offices regionally and globallyBonus Skills:Software or web development acumen such as CSS, Javascript, C#, Java, PHP, and NodeExperience with sales and/or franchised distributionExperience with prescriptive or descriptive analytics and business intelligence tools such as PowerBIKEMET does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity or national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, union membership, protected veteran status, protected genetic information, marital status or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law, in making employment decisions including but not limited to hiring, wages, promotions, rewards, and access to training.
