Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.We are looking for a commercially-minded leader with at least 8 years of experience in marketing in an emerging outdoor, fashion, apparel, or DTC brand.This role is based out of our headquarters in Denver, CO; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire.Responsibilities:

Build, manage, and develop our small but quickly growing marketing team, designing and executing a strategic org structure.Set and execute overarching vision and marketing strategies that align with Halfdays’ objectives and growth targets.Develop and execute comprehensive digital and brand marketing strategies, including product launches, campaigns, events, partnerships, and activations across social, influencer, PR, email/SMS, paid, e-comm, wholesale, and more.Own the marketing budget, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.Digital Marketing

Oversee digital marketing team to exceed DTC growth goals across all digital channels, including Performance, Retention, E-Commerce, and Affiliate.Build and develop a strategic digital marketing team to support Halfdays’ growth targets.Brand and Community Marketing

Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.Build highly impactful brand and community marketing strategy and work closely with the community and brand marketers to implement and execute on plans.Develop and execute roadmap for strategic brand partnerships across PR, editorial, community, events, and activations.Campaign, Social, Content Marketing

Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, events, and other channels.Strategize and execute on creative campaigns for all lifestyle, e-commerce, and social asset needs.Build a social-first content machine that supports our digital channels across social, retention, web, and paid.Data, Platforms, and Reporting

Build reporting processes and standards to consistently report to leadership.Leverage insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics.Ensure appropriate marketing technology tools are in place and set up effectively.Work with technology partners to identify and implement new tools as needed.Constantly test, learn and iterate!Qualifications:

You have 8+ years of experience in marketing.You have led a growth or marketing team in a fast-growing e-commerce, fashion, outdoor or DTC brand.You have played an integral role in a startup or fast-growing brand.Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.You have omni-channel brand experience; you have worked on DTC, retail, and wholesale marketing strategies.You inherently understand the Halfdays brand and are deeply excited about Halfdays’ market positioning.You’re an expert in social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and website optimization to drive online traffic and engagement – you are confident strategizing and executing on each of these areas single-handedly.You have a deep understanding of the marketing funnel and how channels play independently and together in a cohesive funnel.You are balanced left-and-right brain: a great eye for branding and creative, and strong performance marketing & analytical skills.You have built high-performing teams and a proven history of making things happen.You can solve complex problems and work with limited resources.You have the ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with Halfdays' objectives and target audience while considering market trends and competitive landscape.You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Accountable, entrepreneurial, and reliable with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.Positive, open and friendly team member capable of working with various departments and dynamics.You have clear and succinct communication skills.Bonus points if you have experience in both the Fashion AND Outdoor industries.Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000At Halfdays, we know that outdoor enthusiasts come from all different backgrounds, and we are here to support them by having a diverse team.
