As The North Face's Senior Director of DTC Retail and Membership Marketing you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer experience across both the retail brand experience and the XPLR Pass membership program. We desire a creative leader who will obsess over consumer insights, understand shopping behaviors and journeys, and enhance and elevate the DTC retail experience, while ensuring the membership program is the connective tissue to serve customers cross-channel. This role also oversees experiential events and activations, building unbelievable product and innovation stories and experiences to drive demand and impact across the marketplace.Responsibilities

Your team will be responsible for understanding both the art and science of marketing; obsessing over the business, consumer insights, and the creative ways we tell our product stories in store. This includes overseeing the application of global seasonal directives and developing Americas DTC retail experiences and concepts.Develop, drive & own DTC Retail Marketing vision and strategy for stores, brand and all product categories to fuel business growth and brand equity across TNF’s Americas Owned & Operated Stores and Outlets, focusing on physical + digital.Develop, drive & own XPLR Pass Membership vision and roadmap across stores, ecom, and experiential, ensuring we continue to welcome new customers to the program, consistently engage and retain new and existing members through inspiration and enablement.Build, drive and monitor Americas retail marketing plans & tools related to Store openings, Store re-fits, Traffic Driving, Windows, 4 wall marketing and Visual Merchandising; from strategic planning to execution of key strategies / initiatives.Lead, manage and define retail and membership marketing organization by providing the team with clear vision, coaching and motivation to support VF / TNF values and objectives.Plan & manage Americas retail and membership marketing budgets to ensure economies of scale and synergies for optimum return on investment.Work closely with Wholesale Marketing, Brand Management, and Creative to ensure that campaigns, plans and tools are aligned across all channels.Partner with Global Retail Marketing Director and EMEA/APAC Retail brand team to leverage knowledge and share best practices globally.Partner with Global XPLR Pass Director and EMEA/APAC Membership teams to leverage knowledge and share best practices globally.Work closely with direct leader, VP Americas Marketing, and cross-functional leaders including Americas VP Retail and VP Ecom, to maximize best in class consumer experience across DTC.Skills for Success

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.10+ years of retail brand experience (building and implementing strategies).Experience in membership programs strongly preferred.Experience in outdoor, sport or lifestyle brands preferred.Experience leading and growing a team.Ability to travel 10% of the time.
