Mr. Cooper is looking for a Vice President, Customer Marketing Strategy to join our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have an immediate connection to Mr. Cooper's core values: Challengers of Convention, Champions for our Customers, and Cheerleaders for our Team.

This candidate will be a direct response expert and enjoy a fast-paced financial services environment company with over 6 million customers. This leader must be a high energy and action-focused driver of results and revenue with a deep understanding of customer strategy and product marketing.

The Vice President, Customer Marketing Strategy is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of Mr. Cooper's growth marketing initiatives. This role will report directly to the SVP of Marketing for the organization. This role will also lead our short-and-long term financial product strategy for customers with an understanding of financial products, home loans, financial technology. This person will lead marketing and customer strategy, segmentation, and multi-channel marketing for the mortgage team with a focus on originations and customer retention. S/he will partner with other channel owners, brand marketing, and outside agencies/contractors to plan and execute customer strategies. This leader will have demonstrated experience developing & implementing product strategies that promote the growth of Mr. Cooper's current suite of products (Purchase, Refinance, and Home Equity Loans).

This role is accountable for creating and executing major marketing campaigns to improve lead quality and conversion across all products by coordinating with sales stakeholders and marketing channel leaders. S/he will ensure team readiness for shifts in market conditions and lead the marketing strategy for newly onboarded portfolios acquired by Mr. Cooper.

This role requires a strategic thought leader who has the desire to roll-up their sleeves and "do the work" in addition to leading a team of experts. S/he understands how to drive business and create direct results and with a passion to have an impact. This person has a proven ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with other key decision-makers in a complex highly cross-functional / cross-product environment. S/he will be expected to manage, inspire, and grow a high-performance team and digital budget. S/he will partner with various internal stakeholders beyond the marketing team such as finance, sales, and technology to improve customer recapture for newly acquired and boarded portfolios.

Primary day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Leading multi-million-dollar annual budgets and understanding strategic and technical fundamentals of customer marketing.
• Being a numbers-driven marketing metrics expert with a focus on efficient growth and optimization of media spend.
• Partnering with brand leaders and other internal departments (e.g., Brand, Social, Sales, Third Party Products) to maximize reach to the right consumer in the right place at the right time.
• Working with stakeholders, market leaders, and agencies to produce fully integrated campaigns across all marketing channels.
• Overseeing key 3rd party relationships, including creating, evaluating and negotiating RFPs and contracts/SOWs.
• Being effective with allocation of resources (people and budget) to deliver projects in a timely manner that are integrated with important business targets and deadlines.
• Outstanding oral/written communication, with proven abilities in strategy, writing, reading and editing.
• A conceptual, analytical, and creative thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Training Required
• BA/BS with an emphasis in Business or Marketing preferred, MBA a plus.
• 10+ years' experience in marketing strategy, executing high impact consumer-focused strategies.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in driving marketing/sales leads and/or ecommerce revenue.
• Proven track record of deploying successful strategies and tactics that yielded significant traffic/revenue.

Travel Required
• Less than 10% travel for agency visits, conferences, and skills development.
