Job Summary

The Marketing Manager at DuraServ will develop and implement content strategies that align with our company goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of producing high-quality content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will manage the distribution of content, focus on SEO, and ensure brand consistency while acting as a key player in our marketing team.

Essential Functions

  1. Partner with the Marketing Director to identify and implement marketing strategies and campaigns. Act as a key integrated partner with sales, service, and corporate teams, developing and communicating marketing programs.
  2. Support all aspects of the DuraServ corporate and divisional brands, including participation in branding strategy, positioning, guidelines, and implementation with the highest quality standards.
  3. Develop and maintain customer marketing content strategy to align with DuraServ's goals. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing investments, seek feedback, and modify strategies/programs, as needed.
  4. Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote DuraServ's products and services with our customers, working with the sales team and cross-functionally with other leaders.
  5. Actively involved in the development and maintenance of all marketing content and collateral (digital, print, or other), engaging appropriate stakeholders and communicating available marketing resources to the sales team.
  6. Forge internal partnerships, acting as a key integrated partner who collaborates with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business objectives, messaging, and audiences.
  7. Write, edit, and produce high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other marketing content. Plan and maintain a content calendar, coordinating with various departments to schedule and publish marketing-related content. Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  8. Oversee all external marketing channels in the context of customer-centric communications, including websites and social media. Monitor and recommend strategies for improving SEO and ROI for digital marketing investments.
  9. Stay apprised of current marketing industry best practices, identifying and implementing strategies to increase our brand awareness.
  10. Become (or stay) an expert in the commercial and residential door and loading dock equipment marketplace. Keep up to date with competitor and supplier news and marketing activities.

  • (S) Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • (S) Skilled in photo and video editing and shooting

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • In office environment
  • Prolonged periods sitting and/or at a variable desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds infrequently.

Travel

This job requires some planned business travel in connection with marketing research, content creation, or business events.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in one or more of these fields instead of a degree will be considered.
  • 5+ years' experience within the Marketing discipline.
  • Experience with Social Media technology, practices, analytics, and content creation platforms
