Role Description & Responsibilities
Our Dassault Systemes
SOLIDWORKS Visualization team is looking for an INTERN to join the team. Our globally distributed team is dedicated to developing software, which supports photorealistic rendering, allowing users to create stunning visual content.
We are in a hybrid work environment and this paid 6 month internship is based in the Dassault Systemes office in Waltham, MA
As an intern, you will take on the challenge of designing and implementing a prototype at the crossroads of AI and 3D computer graphics. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing text-to-image models like Stable Diffusion to contribute to the generation of texture and environment maps, as well as generating sophisticated renders from simple 3D models.
We operate using agile development methodologies and are a cross-functional team. You will be part of a critical team whose mission is to provide cutting-edge rendering tools for engineers, designers, startups, students, and makers, helping users bring their designs to life with exceptional visual quality.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python
*
Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and Jira
*
Experience with Machine Learning and generative AI techniques
*
Interest in or experience with computer graphics or 3D modeling
*
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
*
Excellent ability to work both independently and collaboratively
