Position SummaryThe Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating editorial content to support the College's strategic communication efforts. This individual reports to the Director of Marketing & Communication and is primarily responsible for managing the college's digital presence. Secondary responsibilities include news writing, feature writing, and producing multimedia content in coordination with the communication team.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for lay audiences or targeted stakeholders.

Strong organization and planning skills.

Demonstrated graphic design skills.

Demonstrated experience in photography and working with multimedia platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/ResponsibilitiesDigital Communications & Social Media StrategyDevelop and execute digital communication strategy in coordination with the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Maintain a digital content calendar to strategically promote stories, events, and initiatives of the college.

Generate, schedule, and monitor weekly social media posts for CPH accounts, including short videos and graphics.

Regularly collect, analyze, and report analytics for social media.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesWebsite Content ManagementMaintain and update website content, including visual assets, as needed for all sites managed by the CPH communications office.

Develop and/or solicit content to reflect new programs and personnel.

Coordinate with CPH IT team and website developer to ensure security and functionality of website(s).

Duties/ResponsibilitiesEditorial ContentProduce regular student spotlights to share with external audiences through the CPH News portal, UGA channels, social media, e-newsletters, and the annual magazine.

Produce 1-2 stories for the annual CPH magazine.
