Essential Responsibilities:Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and TeamworkUphold Houston Rockets brand guidelines and posses a strong knowledge of design standardsDevelop outside sales proposals to visualize a partnership that reflects the goals and values of both the Rockets and the prospect/clientWork closely with the sales team to brainstorm and concept proposals/assets that align with the client's and/or prospect's goals, building cohesive packages that create value for the partnerLead for Corporate Department with Digideck, Powerpoint, Adobe and other relevant platforms, including creation and updates, in collaboration with Graphics & Marketing DepartmentDepartment liaison to Graphics Department, working on a daily basis to acquire updated creative and approved photos for department and client usageCommunicate and partner with internal Departments (ie. Marketing, Graphics, Strategy, Video) to ensure the execution of effective presentation decks and provide data and ideation relevant to each potential new partnerCreate official department communications, including invitations, letters and graphicsManage department photo library for design use, client usage and partner proposals & recapsHiring and managing photographers throughout the season to ensure consistent, quality content. Photograph games and events, as neededCreation and updates for New Partner Handbook, which will be sent out to all partners in the offseason and then updated on a yearly basisBuild signage for partners, including TV Visible LED, LED Panels, Fixed Fascia, TV Backdrops, L-Bars and Fixed Concourse SignageAssist with overall creation of partnership recaps, compiling photos and relevant data throughout the season and building graphics that convey the efficacy of our partnershipsCreate proposals that can be effectively and efficiently translated then presented to potential clients in China or other International markets, tracking relevant data for Tencent, CCTV5 and WeiboManage department presentation technology, setting up A/V equipment for sales pitches and recaps in meeting areas throughout the buildingAssist with on- and off-site events, such as Player/Legend Appearances and Department/Client EventsVarious other duties as assigned by CRO, VP and Corporate Department team membersMinimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree requiredDegree in Graphic Design or related field and experience at internship(s) or entry-level graphic design role preferredMust share portfolio illustrating depth of work and capabilitiesExcellent computer skills to include a high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint as a design tool.Illustration skills are a plusKnowledge of motion graphics are a plusAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience working under tight deadlines, with high-functioning level of multi-tasking, accountability and decision makingMust possess excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAblility to adapt to a team player environment, while being able to work independently as a self-starter and demonstrate innovation and initiativeMust be able to respond positively to creative direction and feedback but remain capable of working independently to develop solutionsMust have strong work ethic and be extremely flexible with the ability to handle fast-paced environment with short deadlinesAbility to handle multiple customers with high degree of detailKnowledge of partnership assets, including signage, media, digital media, hospitality and events/marketing is preferredMust be able to understand partners' objectives and look for ways to associate with the Team's assetsMust be extremely flexible with the ability to handle fast paced environment with short deadlinesPrior experience with CRM system, a plusPrior experience in event planning or event management, a plusMust be available to work extended hours, holidays, game nights and eventsAvailable for client meetings, pitches, team games/events, as neededAbility to work successfully with all team departmentsInterest in basketball and familiarity with basketball terminology is preferredPhysical & Mental Requirements:

In-house/in-office position at Toyota Center in Houston, TXFlexibility to work non-traditional schedule, including weekends and some holidays (ability and willingness to work nights and weekends around basketball games)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, communicate with othersThe vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical formatMust be able to transfer and move items for departmental needsMust be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships
