Director, Remarketing End-of-Term is responsible for developing processes for end-of-lease and remarketing within Stellantis Financial Services (SFS), a pioneering captive finance company. This role presents a unique opportunity for an enterprise leader to shape the future of used vehicle operations. The Associate Director, Remarketing End-of Term is critical in ensuring a seamless customer & dealer experience while maximizing the value of returned vehicles. This role will ensure the captive finance lease-end experience supports OEM brand loyalty and provides OEM brand dealers with the tools necessary to effectively manage the lease return process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Define the lease maturity strategy and workflow for accounts as they near the end of maturity. Promote the development, scope, and documentation of future state processes. Provide strategic direction to internal and external resources relative to the lease maturity processes to maximize recoveries.Oversee and manage relationships with inspection vendors to ensure timely and accurate vehicle inspections at the end of lease terms. Develop and enforce standards for excess wear and usage to maintain vehicle value and customer satisfaction.Coordinate logistics and distribution center operations to streamline the return and redistribution of vehicles.Manage online remarketing channels to optimize the sale and redistribution of returned vehicles. Define and manage business rules to optimize channel selection strategies to achieve high profitability.Develop and deliver training programs for field staff and dealers to ensure a consistent and high-quality remarketing process. Ensure dealers have the necessary tools to effectively manage the lease return process.Analyze initiatives and develop plans that assess internal and external resource requirements, technology needs, interdependencies, and timelines.Analyze dealer feedback and interactions in the online channel. Participate in the development of marketing strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Utilize experiments and analytics feedback to enhance strategies.Provide leadership to a growing team through collaboration and teamwork. Responsible for staff planning, and development for future direct reports. Provides regular performance feedback; Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth; Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external) for the areas/teams within their responsibility; Fosters quality focus in their team members; Improves processes, products and services facilitated through their team members.Required Qualifications and Competencies:Ability to problem-solve and apply practical experience to execute, experiment and drive innovationUnderstanding of emerging technologies specifically in remarketing softwareStrong leadership skills, preferably in remarketing from a captive finance companyAbility to lead a team of direct reports through the end of lease processesAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationMust have business acumen, sound business judgement, and ability to react well under pressureDemonstrate knowledge of captive finance, or the auction industry, key indicatorsAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Access.Great interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsEducation:Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, or related field, or relevant related experience will be considered.Experience:Ten (10+) years of relevant experience in remarketing venues preferred.Experience in a captive environment and/or in an environment liquidating a larger number of lease vehicles, HIGHLY preferred!Must have experience in developing a strategic vision in a high-volume remarketing environment3-5 years of experience leading a team of direct reportsPhysical Requirements:Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, close vision for computer work, speaking, hearing, lift and/or move up to 10 ls.
