SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Social Marketing Manager to join the Content Studio organization responsible for crafting our story with our most influential strategic audiences through compelling content. This role will be focused on go-to-market planning and activation for the WhatsApp Business brand social accounts, and more broadly, the Business Messaging organization.

The ideal candidate has experience managing and supporting the social accounts for global brands. They must have strong end-to-end expertise including editorial planning, project management, measurement/reporting and community management. They are well versed in internet culture, trends, and have experience working with local markets in APAC and LATAM. They should already be a WhatsApp user and able to grasp the importance of business messaging for customers. Experience building strong relationships, collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and partners, taking initiative, and being able to stay on task autonomously are critical to success in this role.

Support day-to-day planning and activation for WhatsApp Business's social strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Instagram Broadcast ChannelProgram manage the social plans for various product launches, campaigns, and branded eventsAnalyze performance data to formulate insights and recommendationsManage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and partners and external agenciesProject management (organize meetings, communicate updates, track timelines, etc)QUALIFICATIONS

End to end Social Media Management and Strategy including publishing, strategy, measurement, insights(Must have)

Project Management of social creative, agencies. Getting work from point A to point B and being extremely detailed(Must have)

Stakeholder Management. Understanding how to manage up, down, and across. Solutions oriented, conscientious, proactive, and quick.(Nice to have)

Has worked with Product, understands how to market product and how to manage work(Nice to have)

Familiarity with WhatsApp and business use cases as our work is product first, brand second(Nice to have)

Experience working on campaigns in Brazil, Mex, Indonesia, India as those are our key markets6-8+ Years of experience managing or supporting social media accounts (in-house or at a communications, marketing or social creative agency)Familiarity with WhatsApp app, product and featuresPassion for social storytelling that enables economic growth for our business audiencesExperience working in a highly cross-functional and virtual-based corporate environmentAdvanced knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, X)Comfortable navigating all the pivots that come with working in social while exercising strong judgment and solutionsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
